Geneva G. (Harbaugh) Sanders, 79, of Blue Ridge Summit, Pa., died Tuesday, Aug. 8 at the Waynesboro Hospital. Born July 3, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Clemence and Grace (Miller) Harbaugh. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milford G. Sanders, in 1981. She was a member of the Germantown Bethel Church of God, Cascade, Md. She was employed at the Gettysburg Shoe Factory for a number of years. She was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons. She is survived by one daughter, Mary E. Meek, Blue Ridge Summit; three sons, Roy P. Sanders, Cascade, Md., Robert E. Sanders, Hagerstown, Md., Francis R. Sanders, Blue Ridge Summit; four sisters, Josephine M. Spielman, Sharpsburg, Md., Geraldine M. Ross, Fairfield, Charlotte A. Poole, Cascade, Md., and Mary Ann Tikey, Pittsburgh; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Aug. 11 in the Germantown Bethel Church of God, with the Pastor Paul Tobias officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 10 in the Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the Germantown Bethel Church of God, 16924 Raven Rock Road, Cascade, Md. 21719.
