OBITUARY:
CLEMENCE ROY HARBAUGH, 74, died suddenly Sunday morning at 9:30 o'clock at his home, Blue Ridge Summit, of a cerebral hemorrhage.
A carpenter in the employ of the John S. Flohr Lumber company, Blue Ridge Summit, he was a son of the late Lewis and Alberta Brown Harbaugh.
Surviving is his widow, the former Grace Miller, and ten children, Mrs. Carl Kipe, Highfield; Mrs. Harvey Benchoff, Charmian; Stanley C. Harbaugh, Highfield; Russell Harbaugh, Blue Ridge Summit; Leroy, Harry and Lester Harbaugh, and Mrs. Eugene Sites, all of Iron Springs; Maurice Harbaugh and Mrs. Layman Reese, all of Blue Ridge Summit.
Also surviving are 38 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters, Mrs. Edward Long, Motters Station; Mrs. Cora Ashaman, Hagerstown; Wilbur Harbaugh, Waynesboro R. 4, and Herman Harbaugh, Hagerstown.
He was a member of St. Jacob's church; Fountaindale, and of the Junior Order of United American Mechanics. Funeral services Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Allison funeral home, Fairfield, with the Rev. Claude Coyle, Sabillasville, officiating. Interment in St. Jacob's cemetery in Harbaugh's Valley. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening after 7 o'clock.

Funeral services for Clemence R. Harbaugh, 74, who died Sunday morning at his home at Blue Ridge Summit, were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Allison Funeral Home, Fairfield, conducted by the Rev. Claude Doyle, Sabillasville. Interment in St. Jacob's cemetery, Harbaugh's Valley.
The pallbearers were Grunion, Floyd, Ira, Calvin, Lawrence and Roland Harbaugh.
