Cascade -- STANLEY C. HARBAUGH, 73, of Rt. 1, died Wednesday at the Western Maryland Center. Born in Pennersville, he was the son of the late Clemence and Grace Miller Harbaugh.

Prior to his retirement in 1971 he was employed at Telledyne Landis Machine Co. in Waynesboro for 42 years. He worked as a metal polisher in the rough stores department. He was a member of St. Stephen's United Church of Christ at Highfield. He was a member of the Order of Owls and the Owls Club of Waynesboro.

He is survived by his wife, Armatha West Harbaugh; one foster son, Robert Lynn, Sr., Hagerstown; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Benchoff, Charmain, Pa. Mrs. Eugene Sites, Fairfield, Pa.; and Mrs. Geneva Sanders, Blue Ridge Summit; two brothers, Leroy Harbaugh, Fairfield; and Maurice Harbaugh, Rouzerville; and four foster grandchildren and five foster great-grandchildren.

Services were held at the Grove Funeral Home, Waynesboro. Burial in Blue Ridge Cemetery, Thurmond.
