Bessie May Benchoff, 81, of Blue ridge Summit died Wednesday afternoon at the Waynesboro Hospital.
She was born in Emmitsburg, Md., and was a daughter of the late Clemence R and Grace E Miller Harbaugh. Her husband, Harvey W Benchoff, died in 1962.
she was a member of the Hawley Memorial Presbyterian Church in Blue Ridge Summit.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Eugene Shank of Blue Ridge summit and Mrs. Chester Fabrycki of Hartford, Conn.; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Geneva Sanders of Blue Ridge Summit and Mrs. Ruth Sites of Fairfield; two brothers, Maurice Harbaugh of Rouzerville and Leroy Harbaugh of Fairfield; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 from the Monahan Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Russell Wier officiating. Burial will be in the Fairfield Union Cemetery.
