The Star And Sentinel April 22, 1944

Allen R Harbaugh, 60, died at his home in Fountaindale, Hamiltonban township, at 5:30 Thursday from a complication of diseases. He was a son of the late Lewis and Alverta Brown Harbaugh and was a member of St. Jacob's Reformed church at Fountaindale.
Surviving are the widow, Verna Eigenbrode Harbaugh, and five children, Edgar, Fairfield R1; Roscoe, Fairfield RD; Pfc Ernest Harbaugh, serving with the U.S. Army in India; Corporal Melvin Harbaugh, Camp Meade, and Miss Reita Harbaugh at home, four brothers, Clemence and Wilbur, both of "Blue ridge Summit; Herman, Hagerstown and Elbert, Rouzerville; and two sisters, Mrs. Ed Long, Motters Station, Maryland, and Mrs. John Ausherman, Hagerstown. There are three grandchildren.
Funeral services Sunday afternoon at 1:30 at St. Jacob's church with the Rev. Edwin L Werner officiating. Interment in St. Jacob's church cemetery.
