OBITUARY :
WILBUR HIRAM HARBAUGH, 63, of near Monterey, Waynesboro R4, died Wednesday night at 11:00 at his home.

He had been suffering from a heart condition for the last five years and had since worked only occasionally. However, the last week of December, 1952, he was forced to ceased work.

Mr. Harbaugh was born in Harbaugh Valley, son of Lewis C. and Alberta Brown Harbaugh. His early life was lived in Harbaugh's Valley and after his marriage he moved to Monterey.

His wife, Letha M. Fitz Harbaugh, died in 1934.

He was a woodworker and followed that trade all his life. He was last employed at the Hess Planning Mill company. Mr. Harbaugh was a member of St. Jacob's Reformed Church. He was also a member of the order of Owls.

Surviving are seven children; Hiram, New York city; Vaughn, Gettysburg; Fred, Havre de Grace; James, Waynesboro; Mrs. Glenn Martin, Waynesboro; Mrs. Fred Gaver and Miss Roberta Harbaugh, both of Baltimore; eight grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. John Ausherman, Hagerstown, and Mrs. Ed Long, Emmitsburg, also survive.

Funeral services Saturday at 2:30 from the Grove Funeral Home, Waynesboro, in charge of Rev. John McClain. Interment in St. Jacob's Reformed Cemetery, Harbaugh Valley.
