Myrtle Ivy Stephen, 90, Borger, died Tuesday, June 22, 1993 in Golden Age Care Center in Amarillo.

Services are pending with Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

A native of Mangum, Okla., she had been a Borger resident for 40 years. She was a PBX operator for Phillips Petroleum Company for 23 years before retirement, and was a Baptist. She was a member of Rebekah Lodge No. 286; Moose Lodge and American Womens Association.

She was preceded in death by a son, Hayden Stephen in 1982, and a daughter, Marguerite Jenkins in 1992.

Survivors include a son, James Stephen of Borger; two daughters, Gerry Simon of Amarillo; and Billie Jean Craz of San Diego, Calif.; a brother, Ollie Gray of Missouri; three sisters, Alberta Owens of Bolivar, Mo.; Effie Jones of Stephenville; and Nellie Young of Fort Worth; 10 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Myrtle Ivy Stephen, 90, Borger, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Gregg Simmons, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in the Holt Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

The family will be at Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. today for visitation.
