Services Held Tuesday for Mrs. Delta Hodge
Funeral services for Mrs. Delta Hodge, 77, were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 20, at Tessendorf Mortuary here, with burial in the Onaga cemetery. Mrs. Hodge died Friday, April 16, at a Nampa, Idaho hospital of an apparent heart attack.
She was born July 12, 1904, near Onaga, the daughter of Ferdinand and Marie Bosse Wegner, and spent most of her life in the Onaga community. For the past several years, she had made her home with her daughters, Mrs. Edith Ewing, of Newton, and Mrs. Margaret Jenkins, Kuna, Idaho. She was at the home of her daughter in Kuna when she became ill.
Mrs. Hodge was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Duluth.
She was married in January 1921 to Levi W. Hodge at Wheaton. He died February 29, 1968. A son, Dale Hodge, died in 1957.
Survivors include her daughters; a brother, Rando Wegner, Onaga; a sister, Mrs. Orlene Wahl, Westmoreland; five grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
