Services Are Thursday for Mrs. Nada Knipp

Funeral services for Mrs. Naheda W. (Nada) Knipp, 81, of Onaga are at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wheaton. Burial is to be in the Onaga Cemetery. Mrs. Knipp died Tuesday, March 9, at Onaga Community Hospital, where she had been a patient since Friday. She had a heart ailment.

The daughter of Ferdinand and Marie Bosse Wegner, she was born April 9, 1900, south of Onaga and spent her life in the Vermillion and Onaga communities. She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wheaton.

She was married to Oscar W. Knipp of Onaga on November 12, 1919, a Wheaton. He preceded her in death January 31, 1974.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Schafer, Topeka; a son, Marvin Knipp, Topeka; two sisters, Mrs. Delta Hodge, Newton, and Mrs. Orlene Wahl, Westmoreland; a brother, Rando Wegner, Onaga; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Lutheran Church Wheaton, or the American Heart Association. Tessendorf Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Obituary-Mrs. Nada Knipp

Mrs. Nahada (Nada) W. Knipp, 81, Onaga died March 9, 1982, at Community Hospital Onaga.

She was born on a farm near Onaga April 9, 1900, and spent her life in the Vermillion and Onaga communities. She was the daughter of Ferdinand and Marie Bosse Wegner.

Mrs. Knipp was a member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wheaton.

She was married to Oscar W. Knipp of Onaga on November 12, 1919, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wheaton. Mr. Knipp preceded her in death January 31, 1974.

Survivors include one son, Marvin Knipp, Topeka; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Schafer, Topeka, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Delta Hodge, Newton, Kan., and Mrs. Orlene Wahl, Westmoreland, and one brother, Rando Wegner, Onaga.

Services will be at 2:00 o'clock Thursday afternoon, March 11, 1982, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wheaton. Burial will be at the Onaga Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wheaton, or to the Heart Association.

Mrs. Knipp will lie in state at the Tessendorf Mortuary, Onaga, until noon Thursday, and at the St. Luke Lutheran Church from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
