Rando passed away at Golden Acres Nursing Home in Onaga. He was the son of Ferdinand and Marie (Bosse) Wegner. He graduated from Onaga High School in 1939. He married Dorothy Baker on September 29, 1943, at St Lukes Lutheran Church southwest of Onaga. Survivors include his wife, his children, Ernest Wegner, Patricia Nott, and Maye Wegner, his sister, Orlene Wahl, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services were held at Mount Hope Lutheran Church. Inurnment was in St. Lukes Lutheran Cemetery.
