Mrs. Emma Randt Rites Held Here Sunday
Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Randt, 78, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Gresen, Manawa, Friday, January 27, were held from St. Paul's Lutheran church, Manawa, at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Randt had been in ill health the past 2 years.
Officiating at the funeral and at the interment which was in Graceland cemetery, Clintonville, was the Rev. W.B. Nommensen of Sugar Bush. Voss Brothers Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Surviving Mrs. Randt are four daughters: Arelle [sic], Mrs. George Gresen, Manawa; Aivra [sic] Randt, Manawa; Ruth, Mrs. Henry Sowall [sic], New London; Retta, Mrs. Alfred Volz, New London; a half-brother, Herman Passehl, Clintonville; and thirteen grandchildren.
