Laertes, Dutch (Steam) Merchant Ship

Built in Hong Kong in 1919, the Laertes was owned by the Dutch Steamship Company of Amsterdam. Her gross tonnage was 5,825 tons, and she was powered by a 413-horsepower triple expansion engine which gave her the ability to reach a speed of 3.5 knots.
