RINGLING MAN DIES SUDDENLY
Waltine Jackson, Son of Lute Jackson, Pioneer Cattleman, Passes.
Waltine Jackson, 34 year old son of Lute Jackson, early day cattleman of this section, and Lucy Jackson, died Friday morning at Ringling following a brief illness. Death was attributed to meningitis resulting from an injury several years ago.
The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday from the home at Ringling. arrangements for which are incomplete.
Besides his parents, Jackson is survived by his wife Dorthea Brooks Jackson and 2 yr old son, Gilbert Ray, and a daughter, Anita Patricia Louise, by a former marriage to Louise Ledbetter. Also the following brother and sisters: Dana, Longview, Texas; L B Jr, Cub and Dixie all of Ringling; Mrs Harmon Ebby, Ada; Mrs Wright Ellison, Rosebud, Texas and Mrs Baxter Hamilton and Mrs Vida Dillard, Ringling.
