MRS LOUISE JACKSON

RINGLING - Services for Mrs Louise Jackson were at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Marvin Acree Memorial Methodist Church, Ringling, with the Rev JP Simmons officiating. Burial was at the Odd Fellows Cemetery under direction of Reser Funeral Home.

Mrs Jackson was born Sept 25, 1878 in Callisberg, Texas. She lived in the Cornish Ringling area since 1897 and was a member of the Methodist Church and a charter member of the Eastern star and Daughters of the Confederacy.

She died in a Waurika hospital Saturday after a six-week illness. Her husband, Lute B, preceded her in death Nov 5, 1952.

Suvivors include four daughters: Mrs Vida Dillard, Ringling; Mrs Wright Ellison, Rosebud, Texas; Mrs Harmon Ebey, Ada; and Mrs Ouida Jackson Hamilton, Long Beach Calif; three sons: L B, Wilson, Ok; Cub C, Englewood, Calif; and Dana B, Ringling, OK; one sister, Mrs Jenniebelle Wilkerson, Okla City; 15 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.

Serving as bearers were grandsons James Dillard, Jerry Dillard, Dick Ellison, Larry Jackson, Biff Jackson and Gilbert Jackson.

Family lore that she was named after Lord Green Brattleton, he was supposedly an uncle of Susan Post Hargis.
