Ella B. Francis, daughter of Hugh and Adeline Kruse Warnock, was born in Dunbar, Neb., Jan. 6, 1882 and passed away at the Belleville hospital July 31, 1967 at the age of 85.
She was married to Viscount Alexander Francis on June 6, 1910 at Dunbar, Neb. To this union were born six daughters and four sons.
She was active in the Order of the Eastern Star for over 40 years, and was affiliated with the Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons, Stewart Hugh and Viscount Alvin.
Survivors include her daughters, Ione Thomsen, Oberlin, Irene Anderson, Ellen Graves, Virginia Wineinger, Belleville, Edna Koebler, Klamath Falls, Ore., Alice Howe, Carlsbad, N. Mex., two sons, Lowell Alexander, Hays and Harrison Sam, Springfield, Mo.; two brothers, William Warnock, Seattle, Wash., and Ray Warnock, Macksburg, Iowa; two daughters-in-law; 22 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Douglas D. Barnes of Lincoln, Kan., in the First United Presbyterian Church of Belleville on Thursday, August 3 with interment in the Belleville cemetery.
