Ellen B. Graves, daughter of Viscount and Ella Francis was born August 15, 1915 at Dumbar, Neb., and died January 9, 1971 at the Republic County hospital at the age of 55 years, 4 months, 25 days.

She was united in marriage May 23, 1937 to Clyde W. Graves in Belleville. In January, 1953 they adopted twin girls.

She was a member of the United Presbyterian church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Stewart and Viscount and one sister, Virginia.

Survivors include: her husband; daughters, Jackie of the home and Mrs. Vinton (Jody) Arnett; son-in-law, Vinton Arnett; four sisters, Mrs. Tom (Ione) Thomsen of Sun City, Ariz., Mrs. Russell (Irene) Anderson of Belleville, Mrs. Howard (Edna) Koehler of Klamath Falls, Ore., Mrs. Louis (Alice) Howe of Carlsbad, N.Mex.; two brothers, Lowell Alex of Hays, Harrison Sam of Springfield, Mo.

Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Paul Boaz Tuesday, January 12, 10:00 a.m. at the United Presbyterian church with burial in the Belleville cemetery.
