Mrs. Bessie Mae Wagoner Withers, age 70, of Route 5, Cynthiana, Kentucky, died Saturday, September 3, at her home, after a short illness. She was the widow of Earl William Withers and a member of Wagoner's Chapel Methodist Church.

Survivors include: three daughters, Mrs. Robert Wade, Mrs. William Clifford and Mrs. Billy Frank Whitaker, all of Harrison County; four sons, Woodrow Withers, William Butch Withers, Ray Withers and Paul Davis Withers, all of Harrison County; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, September 6, at Smith-Rees Chapel by Rev. Joe Carl. Burial was at Battle Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers were Carl C. Clifford, Carl Hounchell, Nelson Williams, Mark Stiers, Donald Wade, Dale Wade, David Taylor and Allen Stiers.
