James Earl William Withers, age 72, of Route 5, Cynthiana, Kentucky, died July 14, 1964. He was a member of Wagoner's Chapel Methodist Church.
He is survived by: his wife, Bessie Mae Wagoner Withers; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Wade, Mrs. William Clifford and Mrs. Billy Frank Whitaker, all of Harrison County; four sons, Woodrow Withers, William Butch Withers, Ray Withers and Paul Davis Withers, all of Harrison County; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, September 6, at Smith-Rees Chapel by Rev. Joe Carl. Burial was at Battle Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers were Orie Morrison, Sr., Dudley Wade, Claud Lemons, Norman Taylor, Thomas E. Asbury and Fred Sowder.
