Mrs. J. E. Temple Succumbs, Services Set For Wednesday
Fulton – Mrs. J. E. Temple, 94, 812 15th Ave., Fulton, died Monday in Harbor Crest Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Bosma Funeral Home, Fulton, with the Rev. Harold Ringenoldus officiating. Burial will be in Fulton Cemetery.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Tuesday evening (tonight).
Jennie Achterhof was born in Ulerum, Netherlands, February 2, 1886, the daughter of Ryke and Grietje Japenga Achterhof.
She married Albert Wiersema, February 1907. He died in 1943.
She married J. E. Temple, Clinton, Iowa in 1949. He died in 1963.
Mrs. Temple was a charter member of the Second Reformed Church, Fulton; the Ladies Aid; Missionary Society; Gold Star Mother; American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Lorraine Cady, Clinton, Iowa; three step-daughters, two stepsons and two grandchildren.
She was preceded by two sons, Allen Wiersema, killed in WWII, John Albert; two sisters, two half brothers, five stepsisters.
