Mrs. Loraine M. Cady, 72, Sarah Harding Home, died in Bluff Terrace Nursing Home in Jane Lamb Hospital Monday,
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Fulton Chapel of Bosma Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold C. Ringenoldus of Community Reformed Church, Clinton, officiating. Burial will be in Fulton Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday,
She was born November 3, 1907, in Fulton, to Albert and Jennie Achterhof Wiersema. She married Forrest Cady August 6, 1942, in Fulton. She graduated from Jane Lamb School of Nursing in 1935. She worked at Jane Lamb Hospital for 30 years, serving in several supervisory positions with 14 1/2 in surgical recovery. She was honored August 20, 1968, for 30 years of service. She was a member of Community Reformed Church of Clinton, formerly a member of Second Reformed Church of Fulton.
Services include two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Leatrice) Shimkus of Howards Ridge, Missouri and Mrs. Wayne (Elaine) J. Reiff of Westminster, California; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers.
