Mr. Goldsmith was a pipefitter for various companies for 35 years and worked in shipyards during World War II. He retired in 1965.
He is preceded in death by a son, Arlin Goldsmith, and four brothers, Archie, Melby, Ted and Donald Goldsmith.
Mr. Goldsmith is survived by his wife, Mary C. Goldsmith of Acampo; a son, Owen Goldsmith of Mountain Ranch; two daughters, Avis Chaney of Avery and Mildred Woods of Maine; a brother, Clive Goldsmith of Dagget; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
