Annabelle "Ann" King, 69, died March 31, 1988, in Americana Healthcare Center. A beautician, she owned and operated the Shangri-La Beauty Shop on N. 15th St., retiring in May. Born in Royal Center, she moved to Cutler as a child and graduated in 1936 from Cutler High School. She also was a graduate of Hufford Beauty College in Frankfort. Her marriage was in Lafayette in 1951 to James J. King, who survives. He and his brothers founded the Ar-Kay-Texural Metal Fabricators Inc. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and National Association of Cosmetologists and Hairdressers. Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Eva (Mrs. Steven) Leming of Lake Orion, MI, and Mrs. Mary Bowers of Forest City, AR. Service April 4 in Landis-Loy Mortuary, Father Al Hudepohl officiating. Entombment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
