Funeral service for Mrs. Dan Pratt, former Abilenian, will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock in Mineral Wells. She was 79 years of age.
Mrs. Pratt died Saturday morning at, 6:30. following a months' illness She was the mother of John Pratt, the Abilianian who was killed in an automobile accident last April. Born in Alabama, she had been a resident of Texas for nearly 50 years.
Mrs. John Pratt and children left for Mineral Wells Saturday, and Mrs. Duckworth, a niece, and Mr. Duckworth, and Frank Howard son-in-law, are planning to go in the morning. Other survivors are her husband, a granddaughter, Charlotte Howard of Abilene: and a nephew, Ab Pratt of Abilene. Mr. Pratt's brother, Bob Pratt, is also a resident of Abilene. Burial will be made in Caddo Valley.
