Rula Stowell
Rula Stowell, 102, of Cashmere, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010.
She had lived in the Wenatchee Valley for 17 years. She had been a seamstress and had sold Singer sewing machines, was a licensed practical nurse and owned and operated nursing homes in Utah.
Survivors include her children, Paul Stowell of Wenatchee, Robert Earl Stowell of Pleasant Growth, Utah, and Louise Warner of Alpine, Utah.
A remembrance service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Berg Mortuary, 185 E. Center St., in Provo, Utah, with a graveside dedication service to follow at Provo City Cemetery.
Local arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.

She had lived in the Wenatchee, Washington, area for 17 years, prior to that she had lived in Provo, Utah. She had been a seamstress and had worked for Singer Sewing Machine Co., was a licensed practical nurse and owned and operated a nursing home in Springville, Utah and another in Cedar City, Utah. She was a member of the LDS Church and served two full-time Missions.
Survivors include her children, Louise Warner of Alpine, Utah, Robert Earl Stowell of Pleasant Grove, Utah, and Paul Stowell of Wenatchee, Washington. She was preceded in death by her daughter Norma Jean Larson of San Jose, California, and two sons Allen Roy Stowell and Ralph Douglas Stowell. She has many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Provo, Utah. Friends may call at the mortuary one hour prior to services. Interment, Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street, Provo, Utah. Condolences may be sent to the family through www.bergmortuary.com.
