Virginia Lee Wilson, 68, of 10574 Happydale Road, died Monday (Sept. 5, 1994) at her home.
She was born Dec. 29, 1925, in Cambridge, daughter of the late Roy Patterson and Leona Delforge Wilson.
She retired from General Telephone Co. after 40 years of service. She was a Protestant by faith and a member of the Communications Workers of America.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Staff Sgt. Charles Richard Wilson, who was killed during World war II.
Miss Wilson leaves a brother, Tom Wilson of Byesville; two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Geraldine) Willis Sr. of Cambridge and Mrs. Donald (Norma) Goodyear of Nashport; five nephews, a niece and a close friend, Mary Collart.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Thorn Funeral Home, where services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor William Lewellen officiating. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Guernsey Inc. or the Guernsey County Animal Shelter.
