Edna Geraldine Willis age 91 of Cambridge, Ohio passed away Monday June 24, 2013 peacefully in her sleep. She was born on December 5, 1921 in Cambridge to the late Roy P. and Leona (Delforge) Wilson. She was a 1939 graduate of Cambridge Brown High School and a Methodist by faith. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles R. Willis Sr. in 1994 and whom she married on September 14, 1940 in Florence, Kentucky, a son Charles Wilis Jr. in 2007, a daughter-in-law Bonnie (Larrick) Willis in 2012, two brothers Charles R. (Dick) Wilson killed during World War II on November 9, 1942 and John (Tom) Wilson earlier this year, a sister Virginia Wilson in 1994, and 3 sister-in-laws Velma Hopkins, Verna Volak and Virginia Willis. She worked 20 years for the McCeary Company decoratng plastic parts. She worked 20 years for the Textron Randall Company as a press operator. She was also treasurer of Local 788 United Rubber Workers Union for 12 years while at Textron Randall. She retired from Randall in 1983. She worked in Louisiana, California, and Washington while her husband served in the Army during World War II. Gerry enjoyed spending time with her family, playing Bingo, and attending the monthly dinners with her friends at Heritage Court. She was a life member of the Disabled American Veteran's Auxiliary #28, a past counselor (President) and 25 year member of Cambridge United Commercial Travelers #588, a retired member of the United Rubber Workers Union, and a member of the Guernsey County Senior Center.
