She was born April 8, 1918, in Rockingham County, a daughter of Amos Benjamin and Effie Bell Rodeffer Diehl.
She was a member of Grottoes United Methodist Church and, on July 23. 1939, she married Walter F. Dennison.
In addition to her husband, survivors include one son, Walter H. Dennison of Grottoes; one daughter, Nancy Small of Doswell; two brothers. Billy R. Diehl and Garland L. Diehl, both of Waynesboro; two sisters, Annabelle Collins and Audrey L. Ball, both of Waynesboro; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Augusta Memorial Park by the Rev. Billy Johnson.
Friends may call at Kyger & Trobaugh Funeral Home of any time at the Dennison home in Grottoes.
