Paul L. Miller
Paul L. Miller, 76, husband of Mrs. Lizzie Grote Miller, 30 Berlin St., Jefferson, died at 2 p.m. Sunday at the York Hospital, where he was a patient for three weeks. Death followed several years' illness.
A Jefferson resident for 42 years, Mr. Miller was a carpenter most of his life, retiring about 10 years ago. He was a member of the Lutheran Congregation of St. Jacob's (Stone) Union Church, near Glenville, and also belonged to Jefferson and Seven Valleys Fire Companies.
Survivors, in addition to his widow, include: Six children, Mrs. Alton J. Moul, 104 Paul St., Hanover; Mrs. John S. Greenplate, 118 Pine Springs Blvd., York; Mrs. Curtis D. Jones, 901 Baltimore St., Hanover; Mrs. Maurice C. Bortner, 25 North Alwine Ave., York; Paul J. Miller, Spring Grove R.D. 2, and Stewart L. Miller, East Berlin R.D. 2.
Also, 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and three brothers, Sylvester Miller, Hanover; Roy D. Miller, Jefferson, and Luther C. Miller, Glen Rock.
The funeral was held today at 2 p.m. at the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock, with Rev. Dr. Kenneth S. Ehrhart, his pastor, officiating. Rev. George A. Heisey, pastor of the United Church of Christ congregation at St. Jacob's Church, assisted. Burial was in Jefferson Cemetery.
