She was preceeded in death by her parents Peter & Lena Kossow, two husbands Roy G. Evans & LeRoy Cartwright, elder brother John, and younger siblings Katharina, Lawrence, Leona, Lena & Irene.
*Note: The last name listed for Marie at the time of her death was Cartwright (the name of her second husband), however it was the second marriage for them both, and each had pre-existing plots with shared stones purchased previously with their deceased first spouses. As a result, Leroy is buried beside his first wife Louise in Olivet Cemetery and Marie with her first husband Roy in Pine Ridge Cemetery, thus causing the name on her headstone to read "Marie Evans," rather then Marie Cartwright.
