Jane was born in Orange Memorial Hospital......now known as...... ORMC~Orlando Regional Medical Center......to John Matthew & Thelma Jane Osteen Bowen.

Jane was in my class in the 4th and 7th grade at Lyman High School (now Milwee Middle) in Longwood Florida and also in 8th & 9th grades at South Seminole Jr High (now South Seminole Middle).

She was a good friend to me and had a bubbly sweet personality with everyone she met or knew. She always made everyone feel very special.
She was a Cheerleader and Model and looked just like a real life "BARBIE DOLL" in every way...

Every student had to take turns baking or cooking in our Home Economics class...
~~~When it was Janes turn to make and bake brownies...she put quite a bit of EX-LAX into the chocolate batter...(she wispered in my ear just before she started passing them out)...I was in
"Shock"...or, in "Awe," or should I say, "Mortified!"~~~
Jane then, ***GLEEFULLY*** started passing out her Xtra Tasty Brownies to the Entire Class and Teacher. With every nibble they would all start chanting ...UMM...UMM...UMM...YUMMY...YUMMY...
Of course "Yours Truly"(And Jane) DID NOT EAT ANY.. YOU CAN GUESS WHAT HAPPENED through out that day (& evening)!!!

From 7th grade on, Jane started drinking Metracal (meal in a can substitute) 3 times a day instead of eating real food so she could stay really thin...
She was in the 10th grade when she passed at the age of 16, at Florida Hospital in Loch Haven from stomach cancer with her loving family & brother's Charles Leonard & John Michael by her side...
She is alive in spirit and remembered by all those who loved her. God Bless You Special Friend...
