Saint John Christian Visitor, Thu 01 Apr 1869: "Obituary - Mrs. Israel FELLOWS was the daughter of the late Jas. HALL of Lower Granville, N.S. At the age of 15, she, with her twin sister, afterwards Mrs. MOREHOUSE, was baptized by the late Rev. James Manning and became a member of the church at Lower Granville. Jan. 19th, 1811, she was united in marriage to Israel FELLOWS of Granville. By him she became the mother of four daughters and one son, all of whom survive her except one daughter. Her father was for many years a prominent member of the Lower Granville Church. For purposes of shipbuilding, her husband disposed of his place in Granville and took up his residence at Port George, Wilmot. On their removal to St. John, Mrs. FELLOWS removed her membership to the Germain St. Baptist Church and when the Brussells St. Baptist Church was formed, under the late Rev. S. Robinson, she transferred her membership to that interest. The infirmaties of age beclouded somewhat the experience of her later years, but she was kindly cared for in her second childhood by her only son, James FELLOWS and wife. Her funeral took place from her son's residence and funeral services were held in Brussell St. Baptist Church. (see original)" - Source: Daniel F Johnson's New Brunswick Newspaper Vital Statistics.
