Mrs. Lillian Kessler Gertzberg, 83, of Venezio Avenue, died at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany after being stricken at home. Born in Brooklyn, Mrs. Gertzberg lived most of her life in Albany. She was a secretary at the University at Albany in the romance language department and later worked in the university library until retiring in 1980. Mrs. Gertzberg was a member of the Independent Benevolent Society in Albany and the Pythian Sisters in Albany.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel Gertzberg; two daughters, Aileen Fern Gertzberg and Nancy Beth Gertzberg; a stepson, Dr. Marvin Alan Gertzberg of Delmar; and four great-grandchildren. Burial will be in the Independent Benevolent Cemetery.
