Dinky was born in Calhoun, GA on Nov 3, 2016, five days before Donald J Trump was elected our 45th President. My chihuahua, Rocky, died on Feb 1st so I decided to buy another dog to keep Rosie company. I contacted a breeder in Calhoun & she told me she had one dog available to sell named Lover Boy. When I arrived at her house, she had two dogs in a pen in her living room; Lover Boy & Dinky. I played with both of them and had a very hard time deciding which one to buy. I bought Dinky on that day, March 2, 2017. At the time, I thought about changing his name, but didn't. I wish now I had named him Simba. He acts like Simba in the 'Lion King', always sitting outside, looking around and guarding our kingdom. Rosie did not like Dinky in the beginning, but after time she warmed up to him and now Dinky watches out for her all the time and they are friends. Dinky is also very close to his half-brother, Rambo, who is about 10 months younger. Dinky is a one person dog. He loves Sandy. He does not trust anyone being around Sandy and gets somewhat mean if anyone comes around her. He has one very bad and annoying habit..... he BARKS! Barks all the time. I have never owned a dog that barks and after fives years now, he still is a barker and I guess will always be. Other than that, he's a great dog.
