She was born January 3, 1929, in Mason, WV, a daughter of the late Emmett and Rosa B. (Lewis) Nease. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edwin Halley Clarke; five sisters, Lillian VanMeter, Gertrude VanMeter, Erma Turnbull, Kathleen Trapp, Naomi Riley and two brothers, Bernard and Lloyd Nease.
Rosalee was a 1947 graduate of Wahama High School and a member of the New Haven United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and worked for several grocery stores. Rosalee enjoyed crossword puzzles, collecting various types of rocks and antique jars.
Survivors include her son, Alaric Clarke and his wife Melisa of New Matamoras, OH; grandchildren, Joseph, Jacob, Nicholas; great grandchildren, Zaidyn, Owen, Ruby, Everly and special friends, Pastor Annette and Rachel Bales.
Per her request, there will be no public services. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Graham Baptist Church Cemetery, New Haven, WV.
