Riley was born Aug. 9, 1923, in Mason, daughter of the late Emmett Lee Nease and Rosa Lewis Nease. In addition to her parents, she also was preceded by her husband, Marshall "Doc"Riley; sisters, Erma Turnbull, Dolly VanMeter and Lillian VanMeter; and brothers, Bernard Nease and Leonard Lloyd Nease.
Her survivors include her sons, Marshall David and Sharon Riley of Kingsport, Tenn., and Jeffrey Bruce and Mary Louise Riley of Hurricane, W.Va.; grandchildren, Rachel Riley, James Riley, Sean Patrick Riley, Logan Shea Riley; sisters, RosaLee "Peachie" Clarke of New Haven and Kathleen Trapp of Rock Hill, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at Graham Cemetery in New Haven at 11 a.m. Friday. Officiating will be Pastor Brian May. Visitation will take place Thursday at Foglesong-Tucker Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m.
