DEATH AT O. P. HOME
Ingeborg Berglund who has made her home at the Old Peoples Home of this city for ten years, died Saturday of cerebral hemorrhage after having been bedfast for a number of years. The funeral service was held Monday afternoon and interment made in Cassel Cemetery.
Mrs. Berglund was a native of Sweden where she was born February 4 [sic], 1846, and she was 84 years, 5 months and 8 days at the time of her death. She entered the home from Cedar Rapids where she had lived for some time.
The funeral services were in charge of Rev. C. O. Nelson, pastor of the St. John's Lutheran Church and were held from the home. Attending the funeral were two grandchildren, a Mrs. Shaffer [Mary Margaret (Streeter) Schaefer], and a Mr. Springer [Streeter] of Anamosa. She is survived by one brother in addition to the relatives just mentioned.

Ingeborg Hinriksdotter was born Feb. 3, 1846 at Råda, Värmland, Sweden, the daughter of Hinrik Hinriksson and Kerstin Nilsdotter. While living at Floda, Dalarna, Sweden, two daughters were born to her, Amanda Wilhelmina on Jun. 3, 1867, and Maria Elisabeth on Jan. 28, 1872. The three emigrated to America together in April 1872. The same year she married Per A. Berglund and they resided in Kandiyohi and Chippewa counties in Minnesota. After her husband's death she lived near her daughter, Amanda, at Anamosa and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, before entering the Lutheran Home at Madrid.
