Jenny Boyter, 73, of Austin, Utah, passed away July 1, 2007, at her homein Austin, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with breast cancer.

She was born January 12, 1934, in Austin, Utah, to James Abel and Caroline Conder Roberts.

She married Scott Stapley Boyter (1924-2005) on May 25, 1951, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on March 26, 1964.

He preceded her in death on March 22, 2005.

Jenny's greatest joy was caring for her family. She enjoyed spending time at their cabin; sewing; quilting; crocheting; and cooking large meals for her family. Jenny enjoyed working at Goosberry as a camp host for eight
years.

She is survived by her children, Don Jay Boyter, Austin; Nola Jean Tong, Brooklyn; Robert (Cathy) Boyter, Redmond;Shirley Faye Christensen, Richfield; Alex Scott (Stacy) Boyter, Sigurd; and Brad George Boyter,Sigurd; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; brothers, Leonard
Roberts, Austin; Lavar (Verona) Roberts, Sandy; and a sister, Nola (Tom) Crane, North SLC.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Scott; parents; granddaughter,Angela Jean Christensen; great-grandson, Jared Carl Jolley; brothers,Bert, Fay, Rulon and Evan; and sisters, Elva, Idonna and Ilene.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. in the Monroe 4th LDS Ward Chapel. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery.
