Charles Sidney Coy, 75, of Moberly died Saturday, October 6, 2018, at the Univ. of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Mo. He was born Aug. 4, 1943, in the Keytesville area, the son of Raymond Hughes Coy and Flora Ione Scott Coy.

Charles was a graduate of Keytesville High School an d Grantham School of Electronics in Kansas City. He worked for over 20 years for the Moberly State Prison in Moberly, a few years at 3M in Columbia and Dupont in Moberly. He owned and operated Moberly Communications and Electronics and North Missouri Electronics in Keytesville.

In 1973 he married Nancy Earlene Saladin of Moberly. He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife of 45 years and several cousins.

He was a member of Carpenter Street Baptist Church, a charter member of the Tri-County Amateur Radio Club and a long standing "Ham Radio" operator known as WBOENV.

Graveside services are in Moberly at Memorial Park Cemetery at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 10, 2018, under the direction of Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Keytesville 1st Baptist Church. .
