BLEDSOE, MARION O. Born February 15, 1924, in Wynne, Arkansas to Neal and Effie Bledsoe, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2007, in Richardson, Texas.
Marion was a 2nd Lieutenant and a pilot instructor in the US Army Air Corps during World War II. He worked in the oil and gas industry for many years and enjoyed being an outdoorsman, especially fishing and boating. Marion truly loved his family and was a devoted husband and grandfather.
Preceded in death by his daughter, Robbie Lane Gensler and his brothers and sisters, Wayne, Louise, Peggy and Bobby.
Survived by his wife of 60 years, granddaughter, great-grandson, a son-in-law, three brothers and three sisters, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
