JoAnn was born on October 27, 1932 to Neal Bledsoe and Effie Mae Crawford Bledsoe in Wynne, Arkansas. She owned and operated Martin Upholstery. JoAnn loved her family, her church and loved to fish. She was a member of Union Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors are her children Edward Mann, Jr. of Jonesboro, Terry Mann of Marion, Shirley Tyson of Richmond,MS, stepchildren, Ricky Martin of Wynne, Ray Martin of Wynne, Darlene Martin Perez of Hammond, LA, Debby Martin Hall of Jonesboro, James Martin of Wynne, brothers, Billy Bledsoe of Wynne, Norman Bledsoe of Memphis, Lonnie Bledsoe of Wynne, sisters, Beverly Walker and Mary Bob Brawner both of Wynne and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, R. L. Martin, brothers Wayne, Marion, and Bobby Bledsoe, sisters, Louise Callison and Peggy Spencer.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 1 to 3 PM at Kernodle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11 AM at Union Avenue Baptist Church with burial in Cogbill Cemetery.
