Geraldine Marie Tate, 77, of Ironton, OH, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018, at a local health care center. The Lawrence County, OH native was born December 28, 1940, a daughter of the late Robert and Eliza Melinda Small Stamper.
Geraldine was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Zanesville, OH and Pleasant Valley Freewill Baptist Church, Pedro, OH. She was a former waitress for Bob Evans Restaurant.
She was also preceded in death by
three brothers, Robert Stamper Jr., Walter Stamper and Stanley Stamper.
She is survived by
a daughter, Kathy Myers of Zanesville, OH;
brothers and sisters, Bernice Stephenson of Cincinnati, OH, Edith Norris of Oak Hill, OH, George (Patty) Stamper of Pedro, OH, Loretta Martin of Wurtland, KY, Alfreda (Jack) Tackett of Denton, KY, James Stamper of KY, Beverly Stapleton of Ironton, OH and Kathy (Larry) Noel of Kitts Hill, OH;
grandchildren, Brandy (Jason) Wallace, Dustin Fuller, Michael Myers;
great granddaughter, Braylin Wallace and three other great grandchildren.
