Mr. Phillip O’Neal Raybon, age 69, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016 in Grand Bay, Alabama.

Neal was born in Greenville, Al. on January 20, 1947 to the late Houston F. Raybon and Eva (Larue) Raybon. He served in the United States Army, and retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding as a QA Inspector, and served as a custodian and member of Riverside Baptist Church for many years. He was a loving father with a pinch of tenacity. He was a selfless man that put the interest of others first.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Houston F. Raybon, Jr, Edward T Raybon, Dan R, Raybon and Kenneth F. Raybon.

Survivors include his daughters, Stacy (Mack) Rushing, Ocean Springs, MS and Dewana Raybon, Grand Bay AL.; sons, Phillip (Misty) Raybon Jr., Tuscon, AZ and Marlin Lee Raybon, Pascagoula, MS; siblings, Bobbie Jewel (Vic) Sawyer, Frisco City, AL, Diane (Tommy) Miller, Lucedale, MS, Reese Raybon, Greenvile, AL, and Curtis (Gloria) Raybon, Pascagoula, MS. Also survived by his grandchildren, Hayden, Justin, Avery, Aubrey, Ethan, Eva and Brittyn; special friend, Debbie Raybon and his dog, Little One.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 6-8 pm at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula, MS. Funeral Service will be Friday, July 8 at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at Machpelah Cemetery.
