Frances Fuston Frazier age 90 of Smithville, went home to be with the Lord peacefully on Thursday October 22, 2020 at Centennial Medical Center.

She was born July 7, 1930 in Dowelltown to her parents, the late Valter Ray and Verna Lee Ballinger Fuston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Frazier; son, Edward Frazier, Jr.; step-grandson, Troy E. Hinton; brothers, Hoyte and Esdel Fuston; sisters, Bertha Parker, Bertie Hayes, Georgia Ray Fuston and Verna Ruth Fuston.

Mrs. Frances was a former member of the Smithville First Baptist Church, member of the Dry Creek Baptist Church and played the piano for many years at Covenant Baptist Church.
She was a messenger for the Salem Baptist Association and member of the W.M.U.

She was Senior Secretary for the Department of Agriculture. Mrs. Frances was a member of the Smithville B & P Women's Club, FCE, DeKalb Art League, DeKalb Community Chorus, American Legion Auxiliary and a former member of the Study Club. She also did many beautiful paintings.

She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Susan (Jerry) Hinton of Smithville; grandson, Rance (Annette) Kelly of Huntsville, AL; step-grandson, David (Crystal) Hinton of Prattville, AL; great-grandchildren, Katelyn Kelly, Caroline Kelly, and Camryn Kelly all of Huntsville, Michael Hinton and William Hinton both of Prattville, AL and Wyatt Hinton of Huntsville; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Burial will be on 2020 at DeKalb Memorial Gardens with Bros. Donald Owens, Bobby Thomason and Chad Ramsey officiating.
Serving as pallbearers, John Crews, Bill Roehner, Joe McConnell, Steve Officer, Jerry Parker, Alan Watt, and David Terrell,
Honorary pallbearers, included, roger Fuston, Bob Earl Fuston, and Dawson Parker.

In addition to flowers, the family ask that donations be made to either DeKalb County 4-H, Dry Creek Baptist, Covenant Baptist or First Baptist Churches, in memory of Mrs. Frances. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
