Leo Elliott was born on December 1, 1954 in Trigg County, Kentucky to Mrs. Thelma BUSH Blane and the late Mr. Cleother Elliott. Leo departed from this life on Tuesday, October 3, 1995 at 2:25 a.m. at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, Kentucky.
At an early age Leo acknowledged Christ as his personal Savior and he joined the Mount Vernon Baptist Church. He later united with the Blooming Grove Baptist Church where he became a member of the Choir.
In addition to his mother, Leo leaves to mourn his passing three sons: Donovan Pryor, Leo Pryor, and DeVarius Jasmin of Hopkinsville, KY; two daughters: Laquisha Pryor and Lucy Manning of Hopkinsville, KY; two brothers: Sam Wilson, Jr. and Amos Wayne Elliott of Indianapolis, IN; five sisters: Andrellia Owens, Lois Hollowell, Dorothy Mosby all of Hopkinsville, KY, Jennie Tucker of Columbus, GA, and Burnetha Hamm of Oak Grove, KY; one Aunt: Mrs. Blanche Hester of Indianapolis, IN; one Uncle: Mr. Arthur Elliott, Sr. of Hopkinsville, KY; a host of nieces and nephews; a loyal and devoted friend Shirley Sheets; and other close relatives and friends.
