Mary was the daughter of Michael Gilbert. She married James Luther Parks in 1858. She was his second wife. Their children were: Catherine, Lydia, Jerome, James Asher, Jessie, and William Luther. They lived mostly in Selinsgrove then latter moved to Sunbury. She died of TB.
