She was born September 03, 1923 in Washington, DC to James Guy Proctor and Rosa Lee Proctor as the fifth of five children. She will be greeted in Heaven by her mother, Rosa and her father, Guy, her sisters: Louise Carrera and Mary Eunice Gaskins, her brother: Thomas "Bill" Proctor and her daughter, Johnetta Williams. Thelma leaves to cherish her memories to her husband of sixty-three years, Dr. John Henley Williams, Jr., three children: Barbara, Christal and John, III. Four grandchildren, Lloyd, III., John, IV., Jason and Joseph, one great-grandson, Jayden; her brother, James Elmer Proctor and a host of family and friends. Funeral services celebrating Thelma's life will be held at St. Katherine Drexel, 800 FM 1488 Hempstead, TX, 77445 on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at 12:00, Noon. Visitation on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 from 4:50 PM to 7:30 PM and will also be held at the church prior to mass at 10:00 AM-11:50 AM.
