Josephine C. Rodgers, nee Loetscher, age 68, passed away Sunday, May 28, 1989 at Silver Cross Hospital. She was a lifetime Joliet resident.
Surviving are her husband, Stephen W. Rodgers, Sr., of Joliet, ten children, Edward J. (Bonnie) Rodgers, Louis S. (Judy) Rodgers, Dwaine "Doodle" (Linda) Rodgers, Catherine (John) Colona, all of Joliet; JoAnn Shields, Davenport, Iowa, Stephen W. (Tina) Rodgers of Joliet, Penny (Theodore) Nardin of Massachusetts, Myrtle (Steven) Boex, James J. (Marie) Rodgers and William 'Billy' (Kathy) Rodgers all of Joliet; 28 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three sisters, Helen Ludtke of New Lenox, Ida (Louis) Bortoli and Mary (Jack) Keto, both of Joliet; one brother, Raymond (Eileen) Loetscher of Joliet, also numerous nieces and nephews survive.
Josie was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Myrtle (Hedrick) Loetscher and one sister, Betty Webb.
Visitation: Wednesday, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Services: St. John's Catholic Church, North Hickory Street, Joliet, Illinois for 10:00 a.m. mass.
