Mrs. Opal Jones Dies; Rites Held
Mrs. Opal Jones. 40, a resident of route 4 Stilwell, died Friday, Sept. 2 in the Stilwell "Municipal Hospital. Mrs. Jones was born Jan. 25, 1917, in Tahlequah.
Survivors include: three sons, Floyd and Bill Jones, both of Hulbert, and Gary Jones, New Hampshire; one daughter, Mrs. Shirley Thompson. Stilwell; five brothers, Homer, Sam, Joe, Jack and Fred Scott; and two sisters, Mrs. Susie Matlock and Mrs. Maudio Young, all of Stilwell. Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, in the Roberts Funeral Home chapel, Stilwell. Bro. Riker officiated. Interment was in the Caney Cemetery.
