My purpose in doing this is to see as many people who are no longer with us remembered and connected to their family members.

I do believe in connecting those people to their relatives whether their place of burial is known or not. They existed, they are DEAD, and they also have a right to be remembered, and to be included with the rest of their family. They are still very important links in a family´s genealogy, especially as Find A Grave is tied to Ancestry--which makes it all the more important.

I do research the people that I add to Find A Grave as best I can---sometimes spending many hours to find info about them. I am not in this to try to see how many entries I can get, to compete with anyone.

Our history and connecting the loved ones that have deceased is how I honor them.

Memory is like a child along a seashore...You never can tell what small pebble they will pick up and store away among its treasured things...talk about your lost loved ones every day...discuss memories of your lost loved ones with friends, family, and their descendants...Always remember them.

If you find something wrong with a Memorial please send us an email, instead of leaving us a message on the message board... When we get a new memorial to manage, we search on Ancestry and other records to update the information. Please don't send messages to us stating we got everything wrong. I've adopted some of the older memorials and I am trying to improve my account to get the information corrected on each one. If you have the correct info, we'll proudly give you the credit for finding the information.
