My journey to find my mother's father led me to take a DNA in 2016 and i was able through a lot of research to find out who he is i just have not found out what happened to him. Im still looking, I am also engaged in learning more about my paternal lines. I am most willing to help out where needed.

ISO- Burits A Jones born 5/8/1922 death date unknown residence unknown after 1958

Maternal Surnames-Jones, Williams, Hausefus, Ives, Pickett, Bickford, Gilbert, Carpentier, Carpenter Edmonds, Williams, Gibson, Cox and more

Paternal Surnames-Sturgeon (adopted), Highfield, Hamilton, Cox, Brinson, Baxter, Williams, Stauffer, Wenger, Weaver, Lutz, Brittain, Brinton or Brenton, Russsell, Bellesfelt, and more

I had a DNA match in 2022 that seemed to be a match to 3x great grandmother Mary Johnson, I have spent years searching for her biological family to no avail until 2022 when a DNA match showed up that could only be from her family, that match had an ancestor Hans Johnson that was in Lacross, Wisconsin and had been born in Denmark and later relocated to Peoria, Illinois the movement seemed likely that my Mary Ann and this Hans were somehow related, it was in SLC during Rootstech2023 when i was able to get someone to help me with the Danish records at the library, sure enough I was able to not only connect Mary with her family once again I was able to share the good news with my DNA match that i had records of proof and now my Mary Ann Johnson or Ane Marie Jensen now had her parents with her once again.
